Englewood, Colorado

A tradition since 1960.

Sixty six years in the same narrow shop on South Broadway. Original hardwood, pressed tin ceilings, the largest walk in humidor in the Denver metro area, and a pipe case worth the drive.

What’s actually in here

A tobacconist, not a smoke shop.

The distinction matters to the people who come in. Everything is kept properly, the staff have smoked what they sell, and the room has been doing this since before most of the street existed.

Since 1960

The same door, sixty six years running.

Edward’s has been a tobacconist on this stretch of South Broadway since 1960. The floors are the original hardwood. The ceilings are pressed tin. The cases, the signs and the tins on the shelves came with the years rather than from a catalogue.

One customer put it better than we would: it’s a throwback to classic tobacconists, and you can tell how long it has been here by the tobacciana on the walls.

Walk in

Over a thousand cigars, kept the way they should be.

The humidor is the largest in the Denver metro area, and it is a room you stand inside rather than a cabinet you peer into. Come and read the boxes.

Blended here

Our own tobacco,in glass, on the wall.

Alongside the tinned blends we mix our own and keep them in jars where you can get at them. Open one. Smell it. Nobody should have to buy pipe tobacco blind, which is why the sample jars are free and always have been.

People drive a long way for a shop like this.

I've visited pipe and cigar shops all around the country and this is the best one by far! It's been open over 50 years and you can tell by the awesome tobacciana decor. The cigar selection is insanely great and the back lounges are so nice and inviting. Plus the people that work here take the time to help you find what you need.

Best pipe tobacco selection anywhere in the Denver metro area. Recently bought two meerschaum pipes and a half pound of their Drury Lane blend tobacco, and couldn't be more thrilled. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, amazing old world setup for the store. Hope this place never goes out of style

I have nothing but love for this shop. They came highly recommended and I can see why. Doc and Dan are the epitome of bearded gentlemen. I wish this place was near me I would be there every week.
